Orel Vine School is an international school in Uganda, offering both Cambridge international curriculum (03-19 years) and the Uganda national curriculum at primary level.

Intake
The academic year starts in August and ends in June of the following year with termly breaks in between.
Enrolment is flexible throughout the year.
NOTE: You may need residence in easy reach of the school for your stay in Uganda for your own convenience.
SUMMARY OF ADMISSION AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE

- Complete the assessment schedule form that will be sent to you on request, schedule a suitable day for the assessments for when you will be in the country.
- Follow the steps given to you by the admissions office via admissions@orelvine.com :
- Assessments to be done on the scheduled date, on arrival in Uganda.
REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
- Valid passport and visa where applicable.
- Academic credentials like previous school reports and certificates.
- Academic records from your previous school.
- Reference letter from your previous school.
Lower Secondary
Students in Year 7, Year 8, and Year 9 follow the Cambridge Secondary 1 Curriculum. This is a broad curriculum that sets a firm foundation for the start of Cambridge Secondary 2. The subjects studied in Orel Vine School at this level are listed below:
English (EFL), Mathematics, Science, History, French, Global Perspectives, Geography, ICT, Art, Physical Education, and Literature in English.
Students will take Cambridge Checkpoint tests at the end of Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (Year 9). These tests are marked by Cambridge International for English as a first language, mathematics and science.
International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)
Students in Years 10 and 11 follow the University of Cambridge IGCSE programme. The core curriculum offered at Orel Vine School is made up of the subjects listed below:
English as a First Language, Mathematics, French, a choice of one science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics). Other options available are Literature, Business Study, Economics, ICT, History and Geography. Examinations at Orel Vine School are normally sat in May/June of Year 11, and students must obtain a minimum of C to take the subject in Year 12.
Advanced Subsidiary Level
Students in Year 12 take 4 AS (Advanced Subsidiary) subjects. The current subjects offered are: English Literature, Mathematics, French, History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ICT, Business Study, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Art.
Examinations at Orel Vine School are normally done in May/June of Year 12. Students must get a minimum of C in order to take the subject at Year 13.
Advanced Level
Students in Year 13 take three A2 level subjects. Subjects currently offered are: English Literature, Mathematics, French, History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ICT, Business Study, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Art.
Examinations at Orel Vine School take place in May/June of Year 13.
