Our Campuses

At Orel-Vine International Academy, we offer comprehensive education from preschool through primary to secondary levels. Our preschool campus, located in Najjera, Kampala, caters to children ages 1 to 5. Meanwhile, our primary school, found along Gayaza Road, educates children ages 5 to 11. Additionally, our secondary division ensures a smooth transition for students aged 12 and above. Our commitment to personalized attention and tailored services ensures that every student’s individual needs are met.

Pre-School

We strive to provide children ages 2 – 5 a quality, nurturing educational experience that fosters positive child-parent-teacher relationships and supports children’s development. The most important thing for us at Orel Vine is to ensure that all the students are treasured as unique, individual and above all special. We ensure that children learn through interest, hobbies and exciting play opportunities. There is never a dull moment at Orel-Vine!

The pre-school section has 4 classes:

Playgroup: 2 year olds
Nursery: 3 year olds
Kindergarten: 4 year olds
Pre-Primary: 5 year olds

We have a great track record of excellent performance. Give you child the right foundation as they start out their academic journey.

We have Pre-School at both our Najjera and Gayaza-Nakasajja branches.

LEARNING

The pre-school curriculum at Orel-Vine takes a developmental approach to the education of young children, helping them master the basic learning and social skills that form the foundation for all future learning. Children are introduced to drawing, coloring, modelling and painting, numeracy, reading, writing and phonetics. They are taught Science, Numeracy and Literacy. In addition they study French, Reading and Phonetics, Basic Information Technology, Physical Education, Art, Music, Social Skills, Christian Religious Education and engage in all school clubs.

We believe that children learn much of what they need to know through play. Pre-school pupils therefore also engage in self-directed free-play, facilitated by teachers. The children have ready access to and can explore the natural outdoor environment; and extend their physical, emotional, and developmental boundaries while supported by a homely learning environment.

OUR OBLIGATION

In line with our mission, core values, ethos and goals, students at pre-school are nurtured in an environment that promotes their spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth. Orel-Vine therefore provides an environment where love and a sense of belonging are prioritized. Children are encouraged to be expressive. Most importantly, they are brought up to understand God’s love for them. Orel-Vine is every child’s home away from home.

We believe in offering the children rich opportunities for outdoor/ out of the classroom excursions to study and observe the world around them, as foundational to the teaching-learning process.
