  • Individual Report (IR)

The Individual Report component of this syllabus is designed to allow students to research global topics of personal interest to themselves. This term, each student is to conduct research and produce a report on one of the topics: Belief systems, Biodiversity and Ecosystem loss, Changing communities, Digital world, Family, Humans and other species, Sustainable living and Trade and aid. Each report is to be written in continuous prose. Emphasis shall be put on formulating a focused global question, analysing in-depth the causes and consequences of relevant issues, drawing clear and fully supported conclusions, and evaluating a range of appropriate and contrasting sources of information to fully support the arguments made.
