Course Outline.

Our Topic this term, will be Water, Food and Farming.

Global perspectives is a vital subject which focuses on building a variety of knowledge and skills.  Some of which include; communication, collaboration and research which will be embedded in our topic this term.

We will define the three main terms. Water, Food and Farming.

List, identify and give various examples of;

Water sources.

Food.

Farming.

Share, explain and research on the variety of water sources, food and farming each learner is exposed to.

We will also go into details to describe and take note of the value and importance of water, food and farming.

Compare and Contrast your home (a town’s) water, food and farming system versus your village’s water, food and farming system.

Gauge the similarities between the water system in Uganda as compared to that of the United Kingdom.

Research on the similarities and differences between Uganda and Finland’s food system.

Choose a country of their own to identify the similarities and differences between it and Uganda’s farming system using colorful pictures, figures and statistics.
